Agenda
1.Function:

A switch implements network addressing on the basis of various
numbers.
ZXC10-MSC/VLR digit analysis configuration functions to
determine the corresponding network addresses and service
processing methods of various numbers, and to ensure that the switch
correctly implements signaling interaction and voice channel
connection.
2. Number classification :

1. User number : fixed subscriber number
mobile subscriber number

2. Network number:
TLDN, MSC/VLR number, HLR number,IMSI,SMC

Agenda
The stucture of number analysis:

1. The number to be analyzed: number flow
2. Analyzer :
1) numbers of the same type can be putted in the same analyzer;
2) A analyzer can be created many times ,we can distinguish
them from different analyzer portal;
3) zxc10 provides 7 kinds of analyzers:
new service (additional service) digit analyzer, Centrex
service , private network service , special service , local
network service , national toll service and international toll
service .
3. Number analysis selector (DAS)
A specified DAS defines various analyzers through which a
number goes in a fixed order. These analyzers perform their
duties in strict order.

Agenda
Mobile digit analysis:
This function is used to set the numbers of SS7 SCCP route options.
The analyzed digits are converted into the GT indicator of HLR via
specific number flow transformation, so as to seek the corresponding
HLR.

In general, MCC+MNC is added to the front of an analyzed
mobile number,

e.g. 46003, and then the number is converted into IMSI format.
MCC is the mobile country code, and MNC is the mobile network code.

Current toll area number:
The current toll area number configuration is used to make sure
whether a mobile or fixed user number belongs to respective virtual
MSC local offices.
Configure the prefixes of all the local fixed or mobile numbers. The
local numbers can be distinguished from all numbers by the prefixes,
which are embodied in the following three cases:
1) CC+ current toll area number and separate current toll area
Number;
2) CC+ all mobile digit prefixes belonging to the local office,
including local mobile network or other mobile networks.
3) Mobile number prefixes that belong to the local HLR in the local
mobile network.

Agenda
The GT number configuration is mainly used for SCCP routing.
In the CDMA system, MAP signaling between MSC/VLR and the
entities in the networks such as HLR is sent via SCCP.

SCCP can send messages via networks in two methods:

GT routing and DPC+SSN routing.

The rule to select GT is to start from the beginning .
to choose the minimum prefix of this number that can
identify different office IDs, to make the analysis, and to
select as few identifiable prefixes as possible so as to
simplify GT configuration.
To facilitate the commissioning, the ZXC10 MSC/VLR
system starts GT translation with the longest matchable
item. .

From-tail-to-head mode for GT(backward)
For example, if the analyzed digit is 8613909876543, the
system will first analyze whether matching items for
8613909876543 exist. If yes, then stop;
if not, then sequentially analyze 861330987654 no
86133098765 no 8613309876 no 86133098 7 no

untill the matching item is found.

>>861330123-->>find-->>stop

resulting 861330123
