Passive Voice
Passive voice is used when the focus is
on the action. It is not important or not
known, however, who or what is
performing the action.

Passive Voice
Sometimes a statement in passive is
more polite than active voice.
Example: A mistake was made.

How to Form Passive Voice


Subject + finite form of to be + Past
Participle
Someone cleans the streets everyday
The streets are cleaned

PRESENT TENSE
1. Simple Present TenseS + IS/AM/ARE + V 3
Contohnya: I am called by the teacher
2. Present Continuous TenseS + AM/IS/ARE + BEING +
V3
Example: I am being called by the teacher
3. Present Perfect TenseS + HAVE/HAS + BEEN + V 3
Example: I have been called by the teacher
4. Present Perfect Continuous TenseS + HAS/HAVE +

PAST TENSE
