Definition of carburetor
The carburetor is a device that mixes air and fuel
for an internal combustion engine. The carburetor
is still used in small machines and in old cars or
special as they are designed for stock car racing.
Most cars produced in the early 1980s have been
using computerised electronic fuel injection. The
majority of motorcycles still use Carburetors due
to lighter and cheaper, but in 2005 there have been
many new models were introduced with fuel
injection.

The carburetor is a part of the machine that is in charge

of the pengabutan system (intake fuel into the
cylinders). For that function of the carburetor, among
others:
1. To adjust the air and fuel into the suction channel.
2. To adjust the air-fuel ratio at various load speed of the
motor.
3. Mixing of fuel and air evenly.

The WORKINGS of the CARBURETOR

On motorcycle piston in the cylinder is turned
on, perform the suction, this contact makes
the air from outside into the carburetor. The
speed of air flowing past the small, resulting in
spuyer air pressure low, as a result of gasoline
become in buoy spaces get sucked up out
through the small spuyer
Gasoline is mixed with the air ride out into the
mist/gas which is mixed with gasoline. This
Gas will enter into the combustion chamber in
the engine to be burned. The working principle
of the carburetor is actually almost similar to
spray insect repellent.

Examples of some of the systems on the

carburetor, among others :

The workings of the buoy system :

High gasoline reduced
surface

1. Float down
2. The needle floats open
channels of gasoline
3. Incoming petrol fill the
space buoy

High levels of gasoline

in accordance

1. Buoy rises
2. Float needle valve
gasoline lines clog
3. Gasoline stuck in the
nozzles (do not drain)

System Add-ons "Power Valve"

Purpose: to add fuel to the main channel
flow when the valve is fully open, the gasrich mixture so that both the motor power.

How it Works: gas valve open slightly

Gas valve is almost closed,

vacuum gas valve under large
Regulator piston is sucked
upwards so that the valve is
closed by spring-loaded addons then no additional fuel to
the main channel

How it Works: gas valve is fully open :

Fully open the gas valve,

vacuum valve under the gas
is lost (no), regulator piston
is pushed down by the spring
force the valve open so that
the addition of the add fuel
to the main system

Acceleration system
Purpose: to provide additional fuel-rich mixture
that occurs during acceleration
Acceleration system with piston pump
the acceleration
(spraying) :
The gas valve is opened,
the Spring-loaded lever
lift suppressant pump
danTorak pump is pressed
then happen spraying

On deceleration
(charging)
Close the gas valve gas
Lever then pull the
connecting rod to the
bottom than piston
pumps are pressed onto
the shaft of the spring
happening by suctioning
the suction valve is lifted
so that the petrol-filled
workspace
