Discussant 1:
Root cause behind the failure of implementation of

scheme i.e. lack of research has been pointed out


Breaking into 3 sections to involve both union and
workers
Ineffective measures by MD to introduce participative
style of management have been highlighted
Giving financial autonomy has been rightly criticised
Limitations:
Reasons of failure have not been cited properly
Role of MD, HR department, senior and middle
managers to take corrective actions isnt demarcated
and explicitly stated

Discussant 2:
Objectives of MD for setting up workstations

have been stated comprehensively


Objective of Shop councils was highlighted
