Networking

About the Industry

Device trends such as BYOX (bring your own anything) has fuelled
a high volume of devices in the workplace which has created
complexity for the IT department who are in charge of managing the
network in which these devices connect.
Network and IT managers will need clearer visibility into their
networks to provide high quality user experience, while continuing to
manage an evolving landscape.
IT departments are starting to understand buzz terms like SDN,
Internet of Things (IoT), how these impact their organisation, and
they are ready to embrace them.

Fundamentals of computer hardware

Computer fundamental gives a quick introduction about computer
hardware system, starting from generations of computers, types,
characteristics, architecture, CPU, motherboard, RAM, ROM,
cables, and ending with disk drives.

Networking (CCNA)
The CCNA certification has been devised by CISCO and stands for
Cisco Certified Network Associate.
The learning validates a professionals ability to understand,
configure, operate, configure and troubleshoot medium-level
switched and routed networks and also includes the verification and
implementation of connections via remote sites using WAN.
CCNA is an entry level certification to Networking.

Networking (CCNP R & S)

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching
certification validates the ability to plan, implement, verify and
troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks.
The CCNP Routing and Switching certification is appropriate for
those with at least one year of networking experience or those who
are ready to advance their skills and work independently on
complex network solutions.
The routing and switching protocol knowledge from this certification
will provide a lasting foundation as these skills are equally relevant
in the physical networks of today and the virtualized network
functions of tomorrow.

Windows Server 2012

This is the first part of a series that test the skills and knowledge
necessary to implement a core Windows Server 2012 infrastructure
in an existing enterprise environment.
Learning this validates a candidates ability to implement and
configure Windows Server 2012 core services, such as Active
Directory and the networking services.
This module is specifically designed for the candidates seeking their
career in networking. This covers topics like DNS, DHCP, IPv4 and
IPv6.

CCNA Voice
The Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice (CCNA Voice)
validates associate-level knowledge and skills required to administer
a voice network.
Learning this module confirms that the required skill set for
specialized job roles in voice technologies such as voice
technologies administrator, voice engineer, and voice manager. It
validates skills in VoIP technologies such as IP PBX, IP telephony,
handset, call control, and voicemail solutions.

CCNA Security
Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
validates associate-level knowledge and skills required to secure
Cisco networks.
After learning this, a network professional demonstrates the skills
required to develop a security infrastructure, recognize threats and
vulnerabilities to networks, and mitigate security threats.
The CCNA Security curriculum emphasizes core security
technologies, the installation, troubleshooting and monitoring of
network devices to maintain integrity, confidentiality and availability
of data and devices, and competency in the technologies that Cisco
uses in its security structure.

SDN
Software-defined networking (SDN) is an umbrella term
encompassing several kinds of network technology aimed at making
the network as agile and flexible as the virtualized server and
storage infrastructure of the modern data center.
The goal of SDN is to allow network engineers and administrators to
respond quickly to changing business requirements.
In a software-defined network, a network administrator can shape
traffic from a centralized control console without having to touch
individual switches, and can deliver services to wherever they are
needed in the network, without regard to what specific devices a
server or other device is connected to.

Networking on Juniper - JNCIA

The Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Junos (JNCIA-Junos) is
the entry-level credential required to continue to the advanced
certifications in our Junos certification tracks.
Successful candidates demonstrate knowledge of the Juniper
Networks Junos OS, networking fundamentals, and basic routing
and switching.
Designed for networking professionals with beginner-intermediate
knowledge of networking, this module helps the candidates
understanding of networking fundamentals, as well as core
functionality of the Juniper Networks Junos OS.

Security Fundamentals
IT security is paramount to organizations as cloud computing and
mobile devices have changed the way we do business.
With the massive amounts of data transmitted and stored on
networks throughout the world, its essential to have effective
