What is Love?
Loverefers to a variety of different

feelings, states, and attitudes that


ranges from interpersonalaffection
("I love my mother") to pleasure ("I
loved that meal"). It can refer to an
emotionof a strongattractionand
personalattachment.

Did you know that in a study

conducted in the 1990s, it was


found that most males fall in
love between 11 to 15 years
old whereas
most females do so between

11 to 17 years old. At the age


of 21 years, it is estimated that
80% of the young population
have already fallen in love.

What is Teen Pregnancy?

Teenage pregnancy is

defined as pregnancy
that occurs in women
below the age of 20.

of 20 have been married in the Philippines. This is


especially true in rural areas, where girls are married

How to Prevent Teenage Pregnancy?

Communication with parents, teachers,

guidance counselors, school nurses

Dont give in to peer pressure


Learn to say NO

Know what will and wont result in

pregnancy
Know or learn different ways in
protecting yourself

Value formation about sex and abstinence


Avoidance of places and situations that might

lead to sex

Have a Plan and Set a Goal in

life.
