EFFECTIVENESS

Principles of Personal Vision

Our actions depend on our
decisions; not our respective
environment.
We have the capacity to decide
to act or react.
To get better results, weve got to
focus on the things we can do
something about and not things
that are outside of our range of
influence.

he Principle of Personal Leadersh

Everything is created twice;
mental creation first, then
physical. Personal
Leadership focuses on the
first creation.

It is a principle that all things are

created twice, but not all first
creations are by conscious
design. In our personal lives, if we
are not responsible for our first
creations, we empower other
people and circumstances to
shape much of our lives by
default.

To proactively deliver the first

creation, you must harness your
unique capacities of:
Self-awareness
Imagination and
Conscience

What is at the center of

Self
your life?

Wealth
Money
Fame
Work
Possession Friends
Pleasure
Whatever is at the center of
your life drives it.

To have a clear end in mind, you

must

Develop a Personal Mission

Statement.
Define the objectives of
each of your life roles

A Personal Mission Statement

based on correct principles
becomes the basis for making for
making major, life-directing
decisions, the basis for making
daily decisions in the midst of
circumstances and emotions that
affect our lives.

Personal Mission Statement

The focus is on
Character (What you want to
be)
Achievement (What you
want to do)
Values (The guideposts on
which character and
achievement will be attained)

Clearly defining our Life Roles

guides our interactions with the
people in our lives. It reminds us
of their expectations and
instruct our behaviors towards
them.

Life Roles
Family (Father, Mother, Son,
Daughter, Sibling)
Social (Friends)
Career (Colleague, Employee,
Employer etc)
Church (Member, Leader,
Pastor)

In order to stay aligned to this

statement and the roles we have
defined for ourselves, we must
constantly conduct a Personal
Assessment Program (PAP).

Measure | Assess | Re-Align

Beyond ourselves, we should define a

focus for our individual families and
organizations.
As ministries within the church, it is
important we define our mission and
roles within the Ministry, highlighting
how we will provide support and help
achieve the overall Mission of ElShaddai Covenant Church.
