infrastructure to equipment (eg. VoIP switches) located approx.1200 m underground and to video
cameras located in the mine - enabling to centrally monitor activity from a command center.
Highlights:
Installing fibre optical cable proved unfeasible - this is a production shaft and any equipment
placed in this harsh environment is subjected to extreme abuse. A fibre cable would be too costly
to install & maintain in this situation.

Systems overcome challenges posed by multipath and Fresnel zone limitations imposed by moving
