Kuwait (Arabic: ) , officially the State of
Kuwait, is an Arab country in Western Asia.
Situated in the northern edge of Eastern Arabia
at the tip of the Persian Gulf, it shares borders
with Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
It has nine islands, all of which, with the
exception of Failaka Island, are uninhabited.

Kuwait Climate

The spring season in March is warm with

occasional thunderstorms. The frequent winds
from the northwest are cold in winter and hot in
summer. Southeasterly damp winds spring up
between July and October; hot and dry south
winds prevail in spring and early summer.
The shamal, a northwesterly wind common
during
June
and
July,
causes
dramatic
sandstorms.
The temperature in Kuwait during summer is
above 25 (77 F). The highest recorded
temperature was 54.4 (129.9 F) which is the
highest of any Middle Eastern country.

National Museum

The National Museum comprises four

buildings and a planetarium. Stripped and
burnt by the Iraqi invaders, it houses the AlSabah collection of Islamic art, one of the
most comprehensive collections in the world
The museum also houses the Dar Al-Athar
Al-Islamiyyah (DAI), an extensive collection
of Islamic art, ranging from early Islam to the
18th century.
For my point of view it is good place to know
our history and how our grandpa struggle to
make us live.

Kuwait, and was the center of trade prior to the

The Souk Sharq. The center began as a
traditional souq but as the city has undergone
investment has expanded into a modernized
western-style shopping mall of approximately
55,567m area, with a vivacious atmosphere and
one of Kuwait's most liveliest social venues.
Marina Mall: the second largest shopping and
entertainment complex in Kuwait, is located
along the beachfront in the shopping district of
Salmiya.

Future tourism in Kuwait

In my point of view I do not see Kuwait as a tourismoriented country, to begin with. Kuwait should increase
some entertainment places for its people, but not for
encouraging people from outside to come... It is a country
most driven by business objectives that would give
people the desire to work, but opening it for tourism
would lead to another issue.
Kuwait lacks some projects, some vital fund places for the
public: educational, fun-learning, entertaining, interactive
like exhibits, renovating Failaka Island making it a going
to places of interest.
