Introduction Slides (Interesting/General info)

Slavery in Massachusetts was not common, but they did have a large ship
for the slaves. The ship was called the Mayflower. Slaves would board it to
go to Massachusetts. This ship was not a tall ship it was a medium size
ship. This region was not a bad place. This is a peaceful place. I say it is
peaceful because there is not that much slavery. Well it is not 100%
peaceful. This region is like 83% peaceful. Thats only because there not
that much slavery. Did you know that Massachusetts was the least harmful
state out of the 13 colonies.

Facts: Who founded, when, why?

When was the Massachusetts founded? The Massachusetts
Colony was found in 1630 by John Winthrop and other
Puritans at Massachusetts Bay. He founded it because they
needed a place for the Puritans to settle to.

Massachusetts or the New England colonies did not really trade.
Well, 50-50.
They did not do that much but they still traded.
They traded things such as tobacco, sugar, wheat, and cows.
The jobs that they did was harvesting plant and hunting.
The things they traded
Crops
Cow

Economy Continued...
The jobs that are harvesting and hunting well those are some of the jobs that
they did.
One of the main products that was sold there was cows.
Cows are main products there because cows created milk.
The slaves would drink it for a break.
Thats where milk was created. This is why it is a important thing.
