LESSON AIMS:
Aan het einde van de les kunnen de leerlingen zelfstandig

een schrijfopdracht maken in het Engels.


Aan het einde van de les hebben de leerlingen

gespreksvaardigheid geoefend en zijn de leerlingen


vertrouwder geraakt met het spreken van Engels.

INTRODUCTION
What are we going to do today?

WRITING ASSIGNMENT
We are going to do a writing assignment: Finish the story
You can choose your own story: The birthday party or Finding

Muffin
You are going to do this on your own
For help, you can use the dictionary or your neighbour
You have 25 minutes
At the end you have written the end of the story (min. 50 or

75 words)
When you are done, you can ask the teacher for an extra

assignment

EVALUATION
You will get a number
All the same number are going to sit together, so every one with

number 1 and number 2 will sit together etc.


Now, you are going to read your story out loud to each other
Do this is turns, everybody has to read their own story out loud!
Give each other feedback on their story (you like it? Why?)
When everybody read their stories, you can write down

similarities or differences
You have 10 minutes to do this

SMALL BREAK

SPEAKING ASSIGNMENT
Speaking assignment about family and friends
Groups of 4
When you need help take a look at your speechcard,

when you really dont know, ask me


You have 20 minutes
2 pupils give the other 2 feedback, switch after 7 minutes
After 15 minutes, discuss the feedback with eachother

EVALUATION
Hand in your rubric
How was it?
Did you find it easy/ hard?
What did you think of the speechcards?
