sustaining innovation within organizations by
creating an innovative and learning organization.

It aims to focus on innovation within business


entities, from the technology product or process
innovation programs, to broader perspective
addressing innovation as a holistic strategic
management imperative not limited to research &
development or New Product Development.

Innovation v/s Innovation Management :

Having done some courses on the process of


Innovation in the previous semesters, the
students would have already learnt the steps to
innovate starting from identifying a need (pain
point) to the developing the concept, the
prototype and finally taking it to the market. At
the fundamental course, Innovation is looked
more as an individual activity to be done by the
student as a class project.
The course on fostering Innovation is focused
towards embedding Innovation in the context of
the organization and the Industry it serves. The
student will be able to look at Innovation from an
organizational competency.
