Iqbal Masihwas a boy from Pakistan that was sold into slavery by his family when he was 4 years old. The owner of the carpet store where he worked added more costs and interest to the amount of money Iqbalsfamily owed him. Eventually , thanks to the government outlawing child labour, Iqbal freed himself , and helped save hundreds of other children. Craig Kielburger
After reading a story
about Iqbal, Craig decided he wanted to do something. So he and a few of his Gr. 7 classmates started an organization called ‘Free the Children’ which gave awareness about Child Labour. It is still organized by Free the Children

When Ryan was 6
years old, his teacher told their class about the lack of water, ecspeciallyclean water in Africa. Ryan has raised over $800 000 for communities to have access to clean water. This is approximatly 400 wells.
