Needs and Wants

Needs are those things

which are necessary for us to
survive.
This includes things like
food, water, and shelter.
Needs and Wants
Want is something that a person desires to
have.
For instance, one needs clothes, but one
may not need designer clothes. One does
not need toys, entertainment, gems, etc..
One needs food, but does not have to
have steak or dessert. One does not need
glamorous trips, mall shopping, etc..

known psychologist who
formulated the hierarchy of
needs according to peoples
desire to obtain the present
state of satisfaction.
A.H. Maslow argued that the basic
human needs can be specified with
reasonable clarity and can be ranked
according to their importance.
