 Introduction
Unemployment means the state of being without any
work both for the educated and uneducated for
earning ones livelihood. Unemployment problem has
become a great concern all over the world. But
nowhere in the world this problem is so acute as in
Bangladesh.Every year hundreds of thousands
student are coming out from college and university.
Though it is one of the major responsibilities of the
Government to provide job to those young generation
but the Government is failed to meet the job demand
among the large population.

Increase Crime

Decrease human dignity

From graph we can see
that now
unemployment rate is
not changing. But it
should decrease
otherwise new
generation fall in major
problem.

 The relation between Inflation &
unemployment-

Phillips curve shows that the

rate of change of money
wage (wage inflation) is
high when unemployment
is low and is low when
unemployment is high. In
Bangladesh inflation rate is
increasing day by day so
unemployment rate is also
decreasing than before.
But nowadays it remains
stable.
 Okun`s Law
From graph we can see that in
Bangladesh the real GDP is
increasing. So this
increasing of real GDP
affects on unemployment.
For the increasing of real
GDP of Bangladesh
decrease the unemployment
rate. For this reason now a
days unemployment rate is
decreased in Bangladesh
but from 2006-2010
unemployment rates remain
same.
 The steps should be taken to remove
unemployment
Population control
Technical education
Job centres
Industrialization
Arrangement of training
Help of government
 Conclusion:
The issue of unemployment problem and its
solution is greater factor for the Bangladesh.
All the unused hands should be provided with
works. All slum dwellers should be provided
with training and works. The young educated
people should be encouraged to be self
employed. Thus our nation will overcome the
unemployment problem.
