Discuss inventor of the color wheel and its importance.
Learn basic color theory: primary, secondary and intermediate colors by
creating a color wheel. Shown through example

State 3 Secondary colors green, orange and purple. Colors are made by
mixing two primary colors together,
State 6 Intermediate colors colors are made by mixing one primary color and
one secondary color together.

Color Harmony
Look around, colors are
everywhere. Color harmony means
colors are pleasing to the eye.

Harmony on earth can be almost

anything from color, music, poetry
or an ice cream sundae!
Check for Understanding
After each stage of the color wheel process instructor
will ask students about the power point, primary,
secondary and intermediate colors and color harmony.

After the color wheel is complete the instructor will ask

students to match colors from their color wheel to
objects around the room or in nature.
