Present Simple
Present Simple is a sentence structure that is commonly used to talk about the
following things:

- A routine or habit: I get up at 7 oclock. He drives to work.


- How often we do something: I often meet friends for coffee. He plays cards all the
time.
- Permanent states: I am Australian. My parents live in Sydney. It rains in winter.

Remember: It describes a regular or permanent routine, habit or state that is


generally true now.
Present Progressive
The present progressive is used for:
Actions going on in the moment of speaking and
for actions taking place only for a short period of time.
