Introduction

The youths are of vital importance in every

society and organisation. They are noticeable in
almost every activity whether positive or
negative. In the bible, God used many old
people, but He also used several youths and
there are so many scriptures and prophecies
that pertain to the youth.
However, truth be told, Acts 2:17(scriptural
prophecy peculiar to the youth) makes us
realize that as "Christian youths", we are not yet
where God intended us to be.

The Challenges of the

Youth in these Last Days
Text: Ecclesiastics 12:1
Purpose of the Message.
Many Christians are letting their challenges
divert their attention from God.
Raise an URGENT CALL OF AWAKENING
to Christian Youths, in spite of the several
challenges we may be confronted with.
Raise an URGENT CALL FOR FERVENT
PRAYERS from our Parents (Deut 11:18-21,
Lam 2:19).
The Challenges of The Youth
ACADEMIC AND WORK PRESSURES.
Increase in Knowledge (Dan 12:4b).
SEXUAL PRESSURES.
The devil is out to steal the purity of young
people through seducing spirits (Gen 34:1,
2 Sam 13,Num 22-24,Rev 2:14).
Many are selling off their destinies for
momentary pleasures and gain (Esau).
Covetousness is destroying many(1 Tim 6:6)
How Can I Overcome my
Challenges? 1
CONSISTENT PRAYER & STUDY OF THE WORD.
Never doubt Gods power (Heb 11:6).
Faithfully seek God in prayers in all things no
matter how little (James 5:16b).
A man cannot be greater than His prayer life
- Leonard Ravenhill.
Live by the Word (Matt 4:4, Psa 119:9;11).
How Can I Overcome my
Challenges? 2
AVOID ALL AVENUES OF SIN & COMPROMISE
SEEK WISDOM IN ALL THINGS (Pro 4:7, Pro
9:10, Pro 7:1-5, Pro 7:7)
- In relating with people (Pro 7:26), what
we see/hear (1 Cor 3:16-17) in how we
socialize- (2 Tim 2:22, 2 Sam 13:2-3).
- Wisdom gives us foresight.
DO NOT CONFORM (Rom 12:1-2)
Stumbling blocks- (1Tim 2:4-5,Matt 23:13).
Seek The Lord Now!!!
LETS LEARN FROM OUR PARENTS
EXPERIENCES & MISTAKES
Most Christian Parents regret not serving
God faithfully in their youthful days.
(1 Cor 10:1,5-11, 2 Chron 33:2;7&10, 34:3)
GODS GIFT IS THE BEST.
Compromising may give temporary
benefits, but only God gives lasting gifts.
(James 1:5;17,Ps 37:25,Isa 40:30-31,Ps 103:5)
God wants to help us.
HE KNOWS YOUR CHALLENGES.
He does not want you to carry them
alone (Matt 11:28).
In spite of Gods greatness, you are very
precious to Him (Heb 2:6).

YOUR COMMITMENT IS ALL HE REQUIRES.

Is He asking too much from us?
Conclusion.
We have only ONE CHANCE to be a youth and
the devil is a liar when he tells you, that you
can be FOREVER YOUNG.
A popular adage says "the proof of the pudding is
in the eating". Knowing God and having an
understanding of what He can do in our lives is
not something anybody can do for you. You just
have to make a decision to embark on this
personal journey with God.
(Lam 3:27, Eccl 11:9, Eccl 12:1, Isaiah 9:17&21)
