Transgender Facts:
In 2011, there were 700,000 documented trans people
Physically transitioning can cost from $5000-100,000+
1/5 resort to underground economies (sex working, drug dealing)
1/5 have experienced homelessness
1/3 homeless trans people have been refused from homeless shelters
90% of trans workers have reported workplace discrimination
Trans women are 50% more likely to experience sexual assault than a cisgender woman
The Bathroom Controversy
There has been no instance of a trans person (or anyone)
using a public restroom to commit sexual assault
The idea that all trans people are predators coming for
your kids in a public area when all they want to do is
poop is just ridiculous
Gender neutral bathrooms have been made as a solution
Trans people are the real victims, but have bee painted
out to be the enemy due to this controversy
