why you act the way that you do and how your
personality is structured.

how much you agree with on the scale 1-5, where
1=disagree, 2=slightly disagree, 3=neutral, 4=slightly
agree and 5=agree, in the box to the left of it.
Extroversion (E)
It is the personality trait of seeking fulfillment from sources outside
the self or in community. High scorers tend to be very social (extroverts)
while low scorers prefer to work on their projects alone(introverts).

Extraverts tend to enjoy human interactions and to be enthusiastic,

talkative. Extraverts are energized and thrive off being around other people.
They take pleasure in activities that involve large social gatherings, such as
parties, community activities, public demonstrations, and business or
political groups. They also tend to work well in groups. An extraverted
person is likely to enjoy time spent with people.

Introverts are typically perceived as more reserved or reflective. Introverts

often take pleasure in solitary activities such as reading, writing, using
computers, hiking and fishing. An introvert is likely to enjoy time spent
alone and find less reward in time spent with large groups of people,
though they may enjoy interactions with close friends.
Agreeableness (A)
It reflects much individuals adjust their behavior to suit others. High
scorers are typically polite and like people. Low scorers tend to 'tell it like it is.
People who score high on this dimension are empathetic and altruistic,
while a low agreeableness score relates to selfish behavior and a lack of
empathy. Those who score very low on agreeableness show signs of dark triad
behavior such as manipulation and competing with others rather than
cooperating.
Agreeableness is a personality trait manifesting itself in individual
behavioral characteristics that are perceived as kind, sympathetic, cooperative,
warm and considerate. Agreeableness is considered to be a super ordinate trait,
meaning that it is a grouping of personality sub-traits that cluster together
statistically. The lower-level traits, or facets, grouped under agreeableness are:
trust, straightforwardness, altruism, compliance, modesty, and tender-
mindedness.
Conscientiousness (C)
It is the personality trait of being honest and hardworking.
High scorers tend to follow rules and prefer clean homes. Low
scorers may be messy and cheat others.
Conscientiousness is the personality trait of being careful,
or vigilant. Conscientiousness implies a desire to do a task
well. Conscientious people are efficient and organized as
opposed to easy-going and disorderly.

Neuroticism (N)
It is the personality trait of being emotional. Neuroticism is a
higher-order personality trait in the study of psychology
characterized by anxiety, fear, moodiness, worry, envy, frustration,
jealousy, and loneliness. Individuals who score high on
neuroticism are more likely than average to experience such
feelings as anxiety, anger, envy, guilt, and depressed mood
People who are neurotic respond worse to stressors, are more
likely to interpret ordinary situations as threatening, and minor
frustrations as hopelessly difficult. They are often self-conscious
and shy, and they may have trouble controlling urges and delaying
gratification
Openness to Experience (O)
It is the personality trait of seeking new experience and intellectual
pursuits. High scores may day dream a lot. Low scorers may be very down
to earth.
Openness involves six facets, or dimensions, including active
imagination (fantasy), aesthetic sensitivity, attentiveness to inner feelings,
preference for variety, and intellectual curiosity.
A great deal of psychometric research has demonstrated that these
facets or qualities are significantly correlated. Thus, openness can be viewed
as a global personality trait consisting of a set of specific traits, habits, and
tendencies that cluster together.
Openness tends to be normally distributed with a small number of
individuals scoring extremely high or low on the trait, and most people
scoring moderately. People who score low on openness are considered to be
closed to experience. They tend to be conventional and traditional in their
outlook and behavior. They prefer familiar routines to new experiences, and
generally have a narrower range of interests.
