- For example, mandating Private Health

EDUCATION

- Give benefit to local students and foreign


students. (PEMANDU,2013)
- The objective is to improve innovation and
productivity of industries.
- For example, Scaling up International School

VALLEY
- According to PEMANDU (2013), it is a crucial
component in the plan to transform Malaysia
into a high-income nation by 2020.
- The overall aim is to transform the region into
a world-class metropolis that will boast top
standards in every area from business
infrastructure to liveability.
COMMUNICATIONS CONTENT &
INFRASTRUCTURE
There are two main components:
- First, improving communications infrastructure
and the uptake of services.
-Second, enriching content space in terms of
value and quality of content produced.
- It play a major part in making the digital
lifestyle a reality for all Malaysians.
Economic Transformation Programme
(ETP)
• Launched on 25 September, 2010.
• ETP was formulated as part of Malaysia's
National Transformation Program.
• Its goal is to elevate the country to developed-
nation status by 2020, targeting GNI per capita
of US$15,000. (PEMANDU, 2013)
3 important of ETP to Malaysian
economy
1. Growth of private investment
-investment in Malaysia economy to 2020 will
be led by private sector.so, the economy will less
depend on Government Funding.
-Besides that, investment will be targeted at
area where private investor believe there is a
great chance of success.
2. Creating job opportunity
-There are about 3.3 million job are projected to
be created from initiative in this program.
-So, overall impact of ETP will be significant
growth in job market.
3. Malaysia will become more competitive in the
world market
-Malaysia will have infrastructure that are the same
benchmark as the first world countries and also
anticipating a major growth in its Gross National
Income or GNI and its per capita profits by 6% per
and RM48,000 per year, correspondingly. These
data will make Malaysia to be one of the high
income countries in Asia and world wide. This good
fortune will make the external investors certainly
want to make invest for their money.
