CENTrAL COAL FIELD LIMITED

CCL had a proud past. As NCDC, it heralded the beginning of


nationalization of coal mines in India.
The CMAL, with its three divisions continued upto 1st November 1975
when it was renamed as Coal India Limited (CIL) following the
decision of Govt. of India to restructure the coal industry.
The Central Division of CMAL came to be known as Central Coalfields
Limited and became a separate company with the status of a subsidiary
of CIL, which became the holding company.

VISION
To emerge as a National player in the Primary Energy Sector, committed to provide energy
security to the Country, by attaining environmentally and Socially Sustainable Growth ,
through best practices from Mine to Market.

MISSION
The Mission of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) is to produce and market the planned
quantity of Coal and Coal products efficiently and economically in Eco-Friendly manner, with
due regard to Safety, Conservation and Quality.

The company should introduce innovative models to attract youngsters.

could increase the market share of the company.
Advertisements have a vital role in every industry. So the company should
make advertisement with changing trend and preference of consumers.
The company can focus more on Export division thereby the export of its
products could be improved.

SUGGESTION
More online promotion method could be implement so as to make aware about the

Company can take direct feedback from customers for development of new
products:Getting feedback from customers can make the company to produce products
that would gain a higher customer satisfaction.
The company needs to update itself according to the new technologies in the market to
maximise quality production.
