Underwater with Extremity Injury
 Background
Rescue - Open Water Rescue Scenario One

 Towards the end of the dive, while looking into a hole, an

unexpected wave pushed DIVER 1 up against a LOCAL
HAZARD, cutting DIVER 1’s calf and ankle. DIVER 1 grabbed
the leg and frantically waved for DIVER 2’s attention.
 DIVER 1 had difficulty kicking due to the deep cut and was
bleeding. DIVER 2 noticed DIVER 1 had started breathing
rapidly, using air supply very quickly.
 Meantime on the surface DIVER 3 and DIVER 4 were
descending in the same area. Upon reaching the bottom, DIVER
3 and DIVER 4 find DIVER 1 and DIVER 2. DIVER 1 appears to
be exhausted, with blood visibly flowing from the leg.
