AND ETHICS OF TEACHERS

INTRODUCTION
 A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
 A teacher is a person who helps

others to acquire knowledge,


competences, and values.
 A good teacher has following

qualities :
 Enthusiasm

 Interaction with learners

 Actually “learn how to learn”.


HOW TO BE A GOOD TEACHER

 There are ten steps :


 Step 1: Take responsibility,

 Take responsibility of the behavior of your


students.
 Every problem that happens in my classroom is
my fault, or stated more positively…I am
responsible to ensure good things happen in my
class.
STEP 2: YOU NEED A MENTOR
 Every good athlete have a good coach.
 Every great musician has an inspiring teacher.

 But why you need a mentor?

 To learn how admit one`s own weakness and to


polish natural abilities.
STEP 3: COMMUNICATE WITH PARENTS IN
DIFFICULTY:

 A good teacher always find a mother for the


irritating students.
 It`s very effective to pickup the phone and call
the parents but do not do it in upset mood.
 Some issues can only be solve at home.
STEP 4: CONTINGENCY PLAN
 It is a psychological term which means you have
a set of actions and consequences laid out. You
must know y is the result of x.
 A well manage class helps one to well manage
the behavior of students.
STEP 5: YOU NEED A MENTOR AGAIN,
 After knowing class management and student
behavior there are some important things like
solving students psychological problems and for
that purpose one need again expert advice.
 Communication is the for becoming a good
teacher.
STEP 6: BE PREPARED
 One of the prim reason of losing temper in class
and be on fire mood during lecture is that we re
not fully prepared .
 One must be prepared not for topics but also for
the questions arises from the topics.
 Students are more imaginative than you.
STEP 7: BE CONSISTENT,
o Be consistent in following classroom rules, Unit
plans, lessen plan etc.
o When you seems to be more consistent ,your
students started respecting you more and they
begin to feel safer.
STEP 8: BE FAIR,
 A good teacher is that who is fair in dealings with
his or her students. He has different expectations
for every student but they can be equally
achievable.
 A good teacher provide equal accommodation for
disable students and treat them well.
STEP 9: BE RESPECTFUL,
 Control your self. As some of us has naturally
abusive personality.
 Think before you speak. Count your words as
they are mirror of your inner enviroment.
 Don`t take things personally.
STEP 10: BE RESPECTABLE
 Do good, and have good. If you respect your
students than your students will respect you.
 To be respectable one need some professional
skills like passion ( Love your subject, your
students will also love to do the things which you
do with passion) competence( know your content
area), and care ( care about your students).
ACTIVITY:

TEACHER ETHICS:
 As you know that a teacher
have direct influence on the
lives of the children, they
must show high standards.
 A teacher required to serve as

strong role models and developed


ethical behavior with students,
parents, colleagues, parents
and others.
WORKING WITH STUDENTS:
 Avoid favoritism.
 Avoid bulling students and putting them down.

 Interaction with students outside the class must


keep at minimum level and focus on school
activities and events.
STUDENT`S SAFETY
 It is a teacher`s responsibility to abide school and
classroom safety procedure to make sure
students` safety.
 In case of bulling, harassment, abuse or neglect
teacher must inform concern authorities.
WORKING WITH COLLEAGUES:
 A teacher must collaborate
with administrator, fellow teachers
and other employees in order to
provide a safe and positive
learning experience for students.
 A teacher must follow the

direction of administration.
 Handle disagreements in

private and avoid speaking


in front of students.
