 Explain Title
 Introduction
 Wherever possible, students should, during the
school year, engage in city mission work. They
should do missionary work in the surrounding
towns and villages. They can form themselves
into bands to do Christian help work. Students
should take a broad view of their present
obligations to God. They are not to look forward
to a time, after the school term closes, when they
will do some large work for God, but should
study how, during their student life, to yoke up
with Christ in unselfish service for others. {CT
547.2}
 From their schools in the mountains some of the
youth were sent to institutions of learning in the
cities of France or Italy, where was a more
extended field for study, thought, and
observation than in their native Alps. …Their
garments were so prepared as to conceal their
greatest treasure—the precious manuscripts of
the Scriptures. These, the fruit of months and
years of toil, they carried with them, and
whenever they could do so without exciting
suspicion, they cautiously placed some portion in
the way of those whose hearts seemed open to
receive the truth.
 Matthew28
 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and
of the Holy Ghost:
 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I
have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway,
even unto the end of the world. Amen.

 Acts 8v4
 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every
where preaching the word.
 Acts 8v1 tells us
 It was the church members who were scattered.

 Revival
 Luke 5:37
 “And no man putteth new wine into old
bottles; else the new wine will burst the
bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall
perish.”
 We need to cleanse the soul temple that
Christ may work through us ,and also to get
that earnest desire to genuinely care about
the soul salvation of others.
 Bible Study
 We cannot share what we don’t know.
 We can become stronger spiritually and
intellectually
 Prayer
 Breath of the soul
 Connection between heaven and earth
 We are in a literal warfare, souls are constantly
under attack ,we have to pray and ask for
help, strength and convicting persons.
 Devotions
 Have Daily Devotions, we ought to carry back
evening devotions as well
 Guard jealously your hours for prayer, Bible
study, and self-examination. Set aside a portion
of each day for a study of the Scriptures and
communion with God. Thus you will obtain
spiritual strength, and will grow in favor with
God. He alone can give you noble aspirations; He
alone can fashion the character after the divine
similitude. Draw near to Him in earnest prayer,
and He will fill your hearts with high and holy
purposes, and with deep, earnest longings for
purity and clearness of thought. {GW 100.1}
 Ask God to show you at least one person
today whom you can witness to or share with
 There is a right and wrong way to witness
 Don’t be too forceful and abrupt
 Learn to read facial expressions, body
language and voice tones to see if persons
are interested or not
 (Christ read facial expressions too)
 Don’t force persons if not receptive now. Do
not give them up, they may be at a later time
or from someone else. Seriously!!
 Ensure your breath doesent smell bad

 Ensure you are dressed appropriately(That

female preacher with the huge bust)

 Always see people no matter how bad they

are, as potential candidates of heaven
 Make concrete plans to win people and how
you are going to go about doing that
 Self denial
 If, while traveling, our youth will keep an
exact account of the money they expend,
item by item, their eyes will be opened to see
the leaks. While they may not be called upon
to deprive themselves of warm meals, as the
early workers did in their itinerant life, they
may learn to supply their real wants with less
expense than they now think necessary.
 There are persons who practice self-denial in
order to give means to the cause of God; then
let the workers in the cause also practice
self-denial by limiting their expenses as far
as possible. It would be well for all our
workers to study the history of the
Waldensian missionaries and to imitate their
example of sacrifice and self-denial.(EGW)
 Walk around with tracts,pamphlets,adfel
business cards, you may just have had an
imteresting conversation and want to leave
something
 Nothing wrong with spending money out
your own pocket on literature such as those

 FRIENDSHIP EVANGELIM

 SOCIAL MEDIA AND TEXT

EVANGELISM(PEOPLE DO READ,ESPECIALLY
MIDDLE AGE AND OLD FAMILY MEMBERS ON
FB)
 OPEN YOURSELF UP TO BIBLE QUESTIONS
 Back to not being abrupt. Do not go around
banging the bible on peoples head as well
 Christ’s method alone will give true success
in reaching the people. The Saviour mingled
with men as one who desired their good. He
showed His sympathy for them, ministered to
their needs, and won their confidence. Then
He bade them, “Follow Me.”—The Ministry of
Healing, 143
 Assist people first,meet their
emotional,physical ,social needs ,then share
with them after

 Can help them study, help with food etc

 Persons may be sad

depressed,overworked,stressed,give them a
word of hope
 Sermons will not do it. By visiting the people,
talking, praying, sympathizing with them, you
will win hearts. This is the highest missionary
work that you can do. To do it, you will need
resolute, persevering faith, unwearying
patience, and a deep love for souls.—
Testimonies for the Church 9:41.
 So it should be with us. Wherever we are, we
should watch for opportunities of speaking to
others of the Saviour. If we follow Christ’s
example in doing good, hearts will open to us as
they did to Him. Not abruptly, but with tact born
of divine love, we can tell them of Him who is the
“chiefest among ten thousand,” and the One
“altogether lovely.” This is the very highest work
in which we can employ the talent of speech. It
was given to us that we might present Christ as
the sin-pardoning Saviour.—Christ’s Object
Lessons, 338, 339
 WHEN CONVERSATIONS COME UP WHERE
THERE IS AN OPPURTUNITY TO SHARE,WE
CAN INVITE PERSON FOR BIBLE STUDY ETC

 DO NOTE,YOU CAN STEER CONVERSATIONS

TO BIBLICAL STUFF AS WELL.
 FOR EXAMPLE THE ECONOMY,FOOD
 A method that can be used also is the FORT
Method
 Conversation Guide= Family
 Occupation
 Religion
 Testimony
 Can make this more practical for us and ask
the person about their studies first(not
occupation and then family)
 Testimony can include

My life before accepting Christ

How I became a Christian

My life since I became a Christian

 Just some additional guides for
conversations,bible studies,visitations etc
 Matthew 10:16King James Version (KJV)
 16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the

midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as

serpents, and harmless as doves.
 “In laboring in a new field, do not think it your duty to say at
once to the people, We
 are Seventh-day Adventists; we believe that the seventh-day is
the Sabbath; we
 believe in the non-immortality of the soul. This would often erect
a formidable
 barrier between you and those you wish to reach. Speak to them,
as you have
 opportunity, upon points of doctrine on which you can agree.
Dwell on the necessity
 of practical godliness. Give them evidence that you are a
Christian, desiring peace,
 and that you love their souls. Let them see that you are
conscientious. Thus you will
 gain their confidence; and there will be time enough for
doctrines” (Gospel Workers
 119-120)
 “Listen to Them
 Listen to the words people are using, listen to
their logic, when you are witnessing to them.
You can learn much about who they are and
what their needs are. This can provide a
foundation and direction for what you later
share when it is time to make yourself and
your purpose better known. It is easier to
tailor your teaching to their specific needs if
you listen to their concerns and take them to
heart.” (Don Mackintosh)

 MANNER IN WHICH TRUTH IS REPRESENTED HAS
MUCH TO DO WITH WHETER IT IS ACCEPTED OR
REJECTED

 DOOOOONNNNTTTT AARRRGGUE
 MY EXPERIENCE WITH SIMONE

 KNOW WHEN PEOPLE MINDS ARE BLOCKED AND

YOU CANT DO MUCH TO HELP..EG JW
 PRY PRAY PRAY
 When people argue with you about truth that
you present it in the right manner ,and are
convicted ,they know what you are saying has
some truth in it could be they are in a
position where they can’t accept it

 Don’t argue with those who are convicted, but

do earnestly pray for them.
 Conviction can result in
 Sorrow,rejectment,people avoiding you anger
etc but can also result in positive character
change as well
 Great Conviction = Great Reaction
 Little Conviction= Little Reaction
 If persons react negatively let them know its
God speaking to them personally
 God never convicts without providing
healing/victory.Pray for them earnestly
 TRY NOT TO BASH..GIVE SOMETHING BETTER
 “So it should be now. The people of the world are
worshiping false gods. They are to be
 turned from their false worship, not by hearing
denunciation of their idols, but by beholding
 something better. God’s goodness is to be made
known. ‘Ye are My witnesses, saith the Lord,
 that I am God.’ Isa. 43:12” (Christ’s Object
Lessons 299).
 Its all about JESUS
 ILLUSTRATE WITH SABBATH

 BE PATIENT
 YOU WILL LEARN MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU
BELIEVE BY WITNESSING
 DON’T BE AFRAID TO MAKE MISTAKES,YOU
LEARN FROM THEM

 DON’T PANIC IF U CANT ANSWER A
