 Koes Plus is an Indonesian legendary

band that formed in 1969, initially named
their group with personnel Koes
Bersaudara Tonny Koeswoyo, Yon
Koeswoyo, Yok Koeswoyo Koeswoyo and
Nomo Koeswoyo. When Nomo Koeswoyo
out, Murry replace him as the drummer,
and then they changed the name to Koes
Plus group.
 Koes Bersaudara considered the pioneer
of pop music and rock 'n roll in Indonesia,
even in the mass of the old order had been
imprisoned because the music is supposed
to represent the flow of capitalist politics.
Where then, Indonesia was heavily against
the incessant anti-capitalist movement.
 Songs Koes Plus has many ballads and
stories have a simple poem. Songs like
Cinta T'lah Berlalu, Manis dan Sayang, Di
Dalam Bui, Telaga Sunyi and Laguku
Sendir is still a favorite song and often sung
society.
 Until now Koes Plus still exist even if only 2
members (Yon and Murry) active plus
other musicians from the outside. But
mostly they just sing the old songs.
 In the near future, Koes Plus will launch
an autobiographical book. The book is still
written by Yon, contains the history of
Indonesian music band founded in the
1960s to the present existence.
