PROBLEMS
• People die in a car because of heat stroke and CO.

statistics-and-reports/fire-statistics/non-fire-
incidents/carbon-monoxide-incidents
2
OUR GOALS

• The thing that we will introduce is the detector for some pollutant
in air like CO – Carbon Monoxide and temperature.
• This thing uses Arduino UNO-3 sensors
• Using C++ in programming

3
DANGEROUS FROM
HEAT STROKE

• Heatstroke is characterized by a body temperature which exceeds

105°F (40.5°C) and represents a serious medical emergency.
• At body temperatures of 106°F (41°C), brain death begins and at
113°F (45°C) death is quite likely.
• In general, hyperthermia occurs when the body produces or absorbs
more heat than is rejected.
• The body temperature rises when natural heat reduction
mechanisms such as sweating and vasodilation prove to be
inadequate 4
DANGEROUS OF CO

CO concentration
50 ppm 200 ppm - headache
200 ppm 400 ppm - stroke and headache
1200 ppm - heart start beating more frequently and abnormally
2000 ppm - unconscious and can die in few minutes
5000 ppm - will be dead in few minutes

6
DESIGN

• We will design the system for Arduino testing system , as we all

know all basic that all data came in analog and digital, so we will
design to output in analog ways.
• Sensors will be launched in stationary platform to detect excess
amount of CO in the car

7
APPROACH & CONCEPT
• Big main concept of Arduino is its data came through two ways as
DIGITAL and ANALOG the digital can show us that the thing we
want to measure is evident or not , but analog can show us graph
of data and varies through time
• The platform should be reliable on its battery.
• It must be able to alarm the car driver if the car driver is asleep ,or
he/she left someone in the car .Then this platform will alert
through mobile phone

8
9
COMMUNICATION TYPE

• We are currently researching about the

communication type .
• We will now currently using just Bluetooth to connect mobiles and the
platform to communicate and alarm
• We will continue research about our communication to the cell phone or
portable device by using wireless connection or Bluetooth

TIME FRAME

• Phase 1: Brain storm, research, and design.

• Phase 2: Create the prototypes, test, and develop.
• Phase 3: Create the real model.
• Phase 4: Develop and conclude and the project .
