Internet access because of its high access speeds; it is offered
in four different forms, DSL (or Digital Subscriber Line), also
fiber-optic, cable, and satellite. The old dial-up connection is
the only non-broadband internet service available, and even
though it is cheaper, most Internet users are moving towards
the faster broadband Internet connection.
 Growing businesses rely on fast, resilient networks to keep
core processes running smoothly. They want to fully utilise
apps, data and tools to experience faster outcomes, in less
time with more efficiency. Broadband services help their
customers create workplaces that inspire collaboration and
productivity.

 The success of the analysis mostly depends on the


methodology on which it is carried out. The appropriate
methodology will improve the validity of the findings.
 Area of the study
 The study was mainly concentrated on Palampur region.

 Research Design:
 Descriptive Research: Descriptive research includes survey
and fact-findings enquire of different kinds. The major
purpose of descriptive research is description of the state
affairs, as it exists at present.
 On completion of the internship work “Customer perception towards City
Broadband service broadband service among Small and medium scale
industries (SME) customers of Jorhat, I would like to give my suggestions
which the company can make use of:-
 The customer rate quality of the service as the most relevant one and
hence City Broadband services Broadband services should maintain the
quality in services and should make improvements in this feature.
 Some customers are planned to discontinue because of high billing and
after sales service is not good. Though it is a small percentage the
company should focus on these to keep the brand image in the minds of
people.
 If any complaint is observed from the customers, it should be dealt
quickly. This will reduce the chance for dissatisfaction.
 Many dissatisfied customers asked for more information about other
plans or change of plans. So the dissatisfaction may be due to providing
wrong plans by the sales persons. So the company can make use of this
opportunity to retain its customers by providing the right plans
 CONCLUSION
 The project titled “A study on the customer
perception towards services provider on city
broadband services ” was carried out among the
customers/consumers in Palampur Region. The
overall objective of the study was to fine out how the
customer perceives City Broadband services Mobile
Phone services and to find out their satisfaction
towards the service against its competitors. The study
revealed the picture of customer’s perception and
satisfaction which help City Broadband services
Mobile Phone services to encourage more people to
be the customers/consumers of City Broadband
services Services.
