Appointment

 Appointment letter is not issued unless a person has been


declared medically fit. Certificate of medical fitness will include
the following:

 Blood Test
 Chest x-rays
 Test for Color blindness where nature of duties warrants
 Drug test of employees if deemed appropriate

 Note: Retirement Age at KML is 60.

Induction / Orientation

 It is the responsibility of the Human Resource Department


to undertake the Induction/orientation training of all new
appointees for the first 2 days.
 The appointee will be introduced to their work, place in the
organization, co-workers and colleagues.
 For the proper understanding of workers Urdu version
may be used.
 Orientation Booklet is also provided to the workers in Urdu
version in Kohinoor Mills Limited.
 Kohinoor Mills Limited also presents orientation video to
new employees.
