Payment of Delinquent Contributions


Penalties:

provided in SSS Circular No. 3-V, delinquent employers shall be allowed to pay on installment all unpaid contributions and a 3% monthly penalty.

Types of Benefits (Income or Services)


Medical

Medical Benefits As defined in Art. 167 Medical Benefits mean all payments made to the providers of medical care, rehabilitation services and hospital care, such as attending physicians and the hospitals. Medical Services Employee shall be provided with such medical services and appliances during the subsequent period of his disability as the nature of ailment or injury and progress of his recovery may require.

Extent: The employee shall be entitled only for the ward services of an accredited hospital and physician.

System shall have the authority to choose or order a change of physician, hospital or rehabilitation facility. the sick or injured party unreasonably refuses to submit to medical examinations or treatment, the System shall stop the payment of further compensation. fees and other charges for hospital services, medical case and appliances shall be minimal and not higher than those charges prevailing in other hospitals for the same services. 3 Kinds of Disability Benefits

Income Benefit Disabilities compensable by cash payments. In case of failure to submit a monthly medical report certified by attending physician, monthly income benefit shall be suspended.

An employee under such disability shall receive the ff. compensation:

Unlisted Injuries and Illnesses

cases of injuries or illnesses resulting in a permanent partial disability not listed in the preceding schedule, the benefit shall be an income benefit equivalent to the percentage of the permanent loss of the capacity to work.
