ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

A public sector enterprise. Setup in Bharuch 10th May, 1976 One of the worlds largest single- stream ammonia- urea fertilizer complexes GNFC today has extended its profile much beyond fertilizers GNFC has also made a foray into the arena of e-security for potential future growth in the Info Tech Sector.

Two aims: (i) To do social work for society & (ii) To make strong economy of Indian country.

TOPIC AT A GLANCE

Training and Development a base for all the employees and Organisation. Training is an important sub-system of Human resource development.

Need of study
Correcting employees performance deficiencies. Examining changes due to training activities.

Some facts about GNFC Training centre:


A well- maintained and well equipped training centre. Recruitment of certain amount of apprentice training per year. Majority workforce from training centre itself.

Benefits to the organisation:Improved quality of training activities. Improved ability of the trainers . Better discrimination of training activities . FINDINGS

Analysis is done through charts. Answers are either highly rated or yes in the questionnaire. It can be interpreted that the employees training & development is positive. Satisfaction among employees is high. Majority employees are satisfied by the current scenario of the training activities.

SUGGESTIONS

More emphasis on needs of employees. Appraisal to the employees whenever needed. Seminars related to the work of the employees should be organized . Employee should get chance to work in different areas or sectors. Regular track of employees performance should be maintained.

CONCLUSION

Evaluation of employees training and development has resulted in positive manner. Objective has been fulfilled or accomplished in a positive way. Training period with GNFC was a great experience.
