Introduction
The HR employees filled many forms, and they were responsible for the compliance of the personnel administration with the legislation.
Today, the role HR in the modern organization is purely strategic. The administrative HR processes are eliminated to specialized organizations and HR Professionals focus on the strategic agenda of the company.
HR monitors the market, and it brings evolving best practices in the area of human capital management.
HR focuses on the development of leaders in the organization. HR understands the key business processes and improves their quality by delivering skilled employees.

A large number of HRD managers are not professionally qualified to handle HR roles HRD managers of today do very little human resource development and do a lot of personnel administration, including estate management and welfare activities. A large part of their time is spent on recruitment, performance appraisals, compensation surveys, administration and management.

The characteristics they seem to share include their role-making behavior rather than role-taking, their ability to see the big picture and integrate themselves and their intervention with the business they serve; their ability to develop others, their sensitivity to behavioral science, their willingness to shift roles, their networking competencies, their aptitude to learn and their cosmopolitan outlook.
