Event Finder is a website specializing in the distribution of information . A website that allows users to find events in the area. Here we need to design user interface application, which runs on Android devices running Android OS 2.3.

To get all the information related to the events. As this is a mobile application one can easily organize their events where ever they are, with ease. This application can be deployed on any android powered mobile phones.

Here, user needs to go to some sites from where he can collect the related information. The user who wants to see the event has to visit the website which is providing event information.

We dont have any website on internet which is giving functionality on mobile, where user can get the event updates through mobile. Here, users are not given permission to access website features through android mobiles.

In the proposed system we are extending the features of such websites like meraevent.com partially into android mobiles. This entire mechanism will happen over web service technology. The proposed application is a tool developed for android platform.

This application is a combination of three projects. 1.Website. 2.Android Application. 3.A Background application to send emails.

It is a tool developed for android platform, which is used to find and organize events which are going to take place in near future. This relieves one from the stress of remember everything about events one needs to do. With this one can quickly check the events which are going to take place in near future according to some criterion such as cost wise, place wise etc.
