DAY 1

Focus : Listening and Speaking Theme : World of Knowledge Topic/ Title : Colours/ Colours Everywhere Content Standard: 1.1By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation. Learning Standard: 1.1.3 Able to listen to, say aloud and recite rhymes or sing songs with guidance.

Objective :By the end of the lesson, the pupils are able to listen to, say aloud the simple story with guidance. Activities : 1. The pupils say out the colour of the colour pencils. 2. The teacher tells a short story to the pupils. 3. Teacher reads the words, pupil point to the picture. 4. The teacher introduces a game to the pupils. 5. The pupils take part in the game with the teacher guidance. 6. The pupils sing a song.

He drove his red car slowly to the party. On the way, he saw white snow drizzling. Then, he saw a brown cow grazing. Through the car window,he saw a black crow flying in the blue sky. He felt so happy.

Learning Standard: 2.1.1 Able to recognise and articulate initial, medial and the final sounds in single syllable words within given context ://(OW)

Objective :By the end of the lesson, the pupils are able to 1. Identify 6 words with / /(ow) in the text. 2. Read out the words in correct stress and intonation. Activities : 1. The teacher shows some objects to the pupils. 2. The pupils name the colour of the objects. 3. Techer ask pupils to match the words with correct pictures. 4. Pupils read the words together with teacher. 5. Teacher explain on the medial and final sound (ow) in the given words . 6. Pupils follow teacher to blending the (ow) words.

Objective : By the end of the lesson, the pupils able to fill in the blanks with correct answers. Activities : 1.The teacher asks the pupils to say the colours that they have learned before in the text. 2. The teacher asks the pupils to spell the names of the colours. 3. The teacher distributes the worksheet to the pupils. 4. The teacher guides the pupils to complete the worksheet. 5. The teacher discusses the answer with them.

Objective : By the end of the lesson, pupils are able to sing action song with correct pronunciation, rhythm and intonation. Activities : 1. The teacher shows the pictures to the pupils. 2. The teacher guides the pupils to read out the lyric aloud. 3. The pupils read out the lyric aloud observing correct stress and intonation. 4.
