NEED FOR ENERGY CONSERVATION

Now the entire world is craving for new and long lasting energy resource. Fossil fuel resources are fast depleting and may not last more than few centuries, besides not being very eco friendly. Generation of heating, refrigerating and air conditioning utilities typically

account for 40 to 70% of the electrical power consumed in various domestic,

commercial and industrial sectors. Meeting the peak demand of electricity with limited generation and transmission infrastructure has been a challenge.

MWE AIR To Water / Steam Heat Pump

What is MWE Air 2 Water Heat Pump?

1.Compressor: This increases the pressure of the refrigerant so that it will accept the maximum amount of heat from the air. 2.Condenser: Patented Coils that move heat to or from the outside air.

3.Evaporator: Patented Coils that move heat to or from the air inside the home.
4.Air handler: Fan that blows the air into the ducts of the home. 5.Reversing / Two way valve: Changes the heat pump from air conditioning to heating, and vice versa. This is not part of the thermostat.

Value Proposition

MWE in technical collaboration with IIT Bombay has worked hard to build one of the best reliability records in the industry and we want to help you make the most of the energy consumed. Its your best option for maximizing your Utility year-round with comfort and economy

Maintenance Friendly: Descaling can be done using clean-in-place system Durable: no worries about over pressurization Easy to Transport: can be transported as a single factory assembled unit

MWE AIR To Water Heat Pump Catering to Space Conditioning

Reversing / Two way valve: Changes the heat pump from air conditioning to heating, and vice versa. With this you can maintain the temperature through out the year without considering

Classification as per customers requirement

air2water

Cold Utility: comfort air conditioning, cold store operation Hot Utility: heating water, direct heating of process fluids like cleaning solutions in industrial washing machines, drying agro products, regeneration of desiccants which can be used for taking care of latent cooling load, etc

Air-Conditioning
A pure Air Conditioning can be provided.

Hot Air during low ambient temperature and Cold Air during high
ambient temperature is possible. Space heating and Cooling is also possible by using Proprietary designed Radiant Panel or Fan coil units Every Radiant Panel will have flow control knob so that Individual can make himself comfortable. Unused capacity of hot or cold water can circulate through insulated pipe to other facility like office, Hostel, residential areas etc. The system uses a high performance, patented Tube 2 Tube technology to transfer the heat from Air to Water.

Radiant Cooling System

A radiant cooling system utilizes large surfaces, such as the floor, wall or ceiling. Rooms are cooled by circulating water through embedded plastic tubes, excess heat being absorbed by the surface. Air change rates can be reduced to a minimum. Radiant cooling system components can also be concealed, which enhances

the architectural concept and improves the rooms aesthetics.

Similarly to radiant heating, the temperature of the water circulating in the pipes and room temperature are always close to one another, creating gentle, comfortable cooling.

Cooling energy consumption is reduced, a key factor in obtaining moderate

energy bills.

It is a genuine benefit of the system that it allows you to install both heating and cooling based on a single system

ADVANTAGE
Very Low Operating Cost Generation of multiple hot and/or cold utilities simultaneously give added flexibility in matching the heating and cooling effects produced by MWE Heat Pumps. Eliminates Conventional Fuel Boiler Costs It completely eliminates all costs associated with boiler system such as chimneys, ducting, fans, fire-safety system and fuel piping system. Eliminates Hazards It completely eliminates the needs to handle any hazardous fuels Environment Eliminates CO2 emission and maintains cleaner environment Big Reduction in Maintenance Costs Compared to conventional systems, the maintenance costs is minimal. MWE System only requires yearly checks and cleaning. Free Cooling Chilled fresh air at about 7C less than the ambient can be channelled to the desired location for spot cooling' or ventilate an enclosed area. Hence, downsizing the air-conditioning equipment is also possible Attractive Pay-Back Period Attractive paybacks, in the range of 3 to 18 month, are achieved in most of the cases with proper application engineering.

Particulars Solar Water Heater (SWH) ENERGY CONSUMPTION Northern Hemisphere 60% solar and 40% on Electric Heater. In such conditions Solar water heater are inefficient. Higher Nos. of Panels / tubes are required to be installed Does not operate in sub Zero Temperature 80% solar and 20% on Electric Heater Designed to Operate in extreme from -15C to +48C. Not depended on Sun but on ambient air which is naturally available. Operates in Ambient temperature that is upto -15C. DeFrosting is not required upto -5C. As the ambient temperature is warm, coefficient of Performance can be 4.5 resulting is less power consumption. Chilled Dehumidified Fresh Air that is normally by product can be recirculated and be utilized in Summers. Saving is upto 75%. MWe Air to Water Heat pump

HEATING CONSISTENCY
Particulars Winter Solar Water Heater (SWH) Heating Consistency gets effected during winter As inlet water temperature drops to the extent of 10C. Depending upon solar Insolation / Radiation. MWe Air to Water Heat pump Heating at committed temperature is consistent throughout the year. MWE Systems are Optimum designed to work in less operation hours. Monthly Ambient temperature and Earth skin temperature is considered before suggesting the right system to customer. Does not get affected.

Operation Hours

Constant Hot Water

Seasonal conditions

Water Flow

Once the 50% of Hot Water is drawn especially during early hours of morning, water temperature gets affected. As Solar radiation commences from 9.00 AM, water heating commences late. Seasonal conditions get affected as Primary fuel is Solar. And operated for only 6 to 8 hours a days Water flow is required to be controlled

Does not get affected as heat is absorbed from Ambient Air and the system can operate 24*7*365. Water flow is not required to be 15 controlled.

Various opportunities for utilizing the surplus hot utility for drying and dehumidifying using liquid desiccants

Conclusion
Revenue generated through recovered heat can more than pay for the cost of operating the cold utility generators! Increasing energy costs and raising concern for environment heightens the need to go for heat recovery systems. Installations have been working satisfactorily for several years, in many cases without a service call. Co-production of multiple utilities using a single system helps reducing space requirement, initial cost and maintenance. CO2 emissions are also reduced and electrical demand reductions are also realized. Proper application engineering can ensure a Win-Win situation of simultaneously reducing initial and operating cost.
