All didnt even know God or His word Built altars to star gods and practiced witchcraft Put an idol in Gods temple Sacrificed his son to an idol & killed many innocent people

Also an evil king reigned for 2 years Worship idols like his father King Manasseh Did not walk Gods ways Assassinated by his own officials

Josiah was crowned a king at the age of 8 and reigned for 31years

Josiah was a very good king

He loved & obeyed God

He listened to God & did what God told him to do

At 16, Josiah became a believer

At 20 years old, he began to destroy all false worship and all false gods.

In fact, Josiah ground all the idols to powder

At the age of 24, Josiah ordered that the temple be repaired under Hilkiah, the high priest supervision

A copy of the Book of the Law of the Lord given by Moses was discovered by high priest Hilkiah

He gave it to the secretary Shaphan who then read it

Shaphan then informed King Josiah and read it in the presence of the king
