Languages
India is a living Tower of Babel 15 national languages recognized by the Indian constitution Over 1600 dialects Official language is Hindi English - official working language, used in business, politics and education.

Dressing Code
Men Traditional - the Dhoti, Lungi or Kurta. Business - suit and tie Women The sari or the salwar kameez Conservative dresses or pantsuits.

Must keep their upper arms, Casual - short-sleeved shirts chest, back, and legs covered and long pants at all times.
Exercising - shorts are acceptable

Gifts giving

Summary
English represents the working-language in business an advantage for persons who want to start doing business in this country. Clear dressing codes, especially for women. A woman travelling or doing business in India should pay attention to the way she is dressed in order to keep herself in safety. Gifts are considered to help the transition into the next life and it is also a sign of friendship,it is important to know when, what or how you should offer as a gift. Casteism - considered to be similar with rasism

Conclusions
India stands for its incredible culture, spectacular forts and places, great traditions and rituals. This so called "country of snake charmers and magicians" boasts of a great civilization. Be it the people, lifestyle or the mystical charm- India has always amazed the world with her uniqueness. Business behavior in India is very similar to that of most Western countries, but we must accept that there are also significant differences.
